Withstanding 1 million cycles on a 75kg drum test, it has shown exceptional durability. This is thanks to the innovative spoke fitting method that guarantees long-lasting rim strength and tension. Additionally, both the hub and rim are anodized in sleek black, matching the stealthy look of the spokes and adding a touch of style to any wheelchair. The Omobic Tensio Ray also comes equipped with an Omobic Trailblazer tire, perfect for everyday use on various terrains with its puncture protection and superior grip. This version includes an Omobic Nova black handrim.
The Omobic Trailblazer is perfect for active wheelchair users who want a dependable, puncture-resistant tire that provides lasting performance and peace of mind. It includes a 4.5mm PTR puncture protection belt that covers 18mm of the tread, substantially lowering the chance of a deflation. The 67 TPI carcass offers a smoother and more comfortable ride with decreased rolling resistance, as well as decreasing the tire's weight. It can be inflated between 85-145psi.
The OMOBIC NOVA handrim is specifically crafted to improve the efficiency and ease of self-propelling for active wheelchair users. Its silicone anti-slip insert is a standout element, greatly enhancing grip and making it easier to maneuver on uneven surfaces. Moreover, the sleek black hard-anodized aluminum sides effectively reduce frictional heat generated during braking, leading to a more comfortable and user-friendly experience.
