Introducing a cutting-edge technology designed to improve your comfort. The Cryo Fluid technology is a wheelchair cushion that effectively minimizes the likelihood of pressure injuries. Its patented design offers a multitude of skin protection options and actively cools the skin surface for up to 8 hours (according to internal testing data at 25° C), while also evenly distributing pressure, reducing shear, and decreasing moisture.
Traditional cushions may cause seated skin temperatures to rise to 37°C, which can increase the risk of skin breakdown. However, with the Cryo Fluid, skin temperature can be lowered by as little as 1°C, significantly reducing the risk of skin breakdown. Engineered to mildly cool the skin within a therapeutic temperature range of 28°C - 35°C, this product effectively minimizes moisture associated with localized perspiration.
